The Saturday night before Gil went on his mission, one of his friends had a surprise going away party for him. Mostly church friends and buddies from High School came. As you can see by the photo above, Susan was also invited. She's rocking out with Tim Adams, one of Gil's friends. You didn't know she was such a "party animal", did you?
I was so sad and concerned what I would do without Gil for two years, I actually made myself sick. He was actually gone two years, four months. The extra months were because they did a language training mission in Utah before going to your destination which was three months and the other month is because he volunteered to stay an extra month in Peru. What was he thinking!?!?
I must say I slightly remember the party but do not remember this guy I'm dancing with - in fact it really doesn't look like me. Think you need to change the picture to you & Gil seeing each other at the airport after his mission on this posting - lot nicer picture! by Susan
