I came across this picture as I was putting together a "memory" book for my grand daughter, Adda as a gift for her baptism day January 1, 2011. It touched me to see this picture and think back to this very special day.
Gram, (as our family called her when she became a great grandma & Isaac would call her that) is holding her 2nd great grandchild, her 1st great grand daughter - Adda. The picture was taken January 2, 2003 - Adda was 16 days old and it was just a month before Mom passed away.
I remember that day so well......there was such a "reverent" feeling in her room as she ever so gently touched Adda. We who were there at the care center were touched so much that we called Jill to see if she wanted to share in such a tender moment, and she was able to come join us.
The eight years have gone by so fast but this memory will remain with me forever.
